Can't remember where she got it from, though I know she told me, but it goes like this: Knit to where you want buttonhole to start, bring yarn forward, slip 1, put yarn to back of work. *slip1, psso* repeat from * to * for as many stitches as you need for your buttonhole Turn work Using cable cast-on, cast on as many stitches as you cast off, plus 1. Before putting the last stitch on the left-hand needle, bring yarn forward; then put stitch on left needle. Turn work Slip 1, psso Keep knitting to next buttonhole.
